In addition to our used and refurbished equipment services we offer consultation services to customers who require project evaluation, assessment of equipment suitable for applications, plant flow options, mass flow diagrams, plant layouts, selection of equipment and recommendations of suppliers, assistance with writing of tender documents and assessment of returned tender documents and appraisal of equipment quoted. We also offer audits of processing plants with suggestions to improve production, reliability. Providing full detailed reports and recommendations. Plant audits for asset registration.
Projects - Got a project and not sure about the crushing and screening? Give us a call to discuss proceeding with a short term consulting service. We can visit site, examine the material to be processed, discuss options with your onsite staff / engineers, and provide a report on the proposed process and provide a plant flow diagram which can be used in the quotation and proposal stages.
The next step would be to provide you with a technical description of recommended equipment to include in your invitation to tender / quote document, and a recommended listing of suppliers to request a quotation from.
Upon receipt of the completed tenders or quotations we offer to assist in the selection of the equipment based on technical suitability and supplier appraisal.
We can even project manage the supply, erection and commissioning of the selected equipment, and independently carry out performance trials / tests.
Being in the extractive industry for more than 23 years we are able to offer independent technical advice and solutions for crushing screening and minerals processing. To date we have completed several consultation services for various mining companies and aggregates producers in Australia, Armenia, Brazil, Canada, Kazakhstan, Poland, South Africa, India, Tanzania, Zambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Libya, Liberia, Angola, Namibia, Botswana, USA etc, not to mention several road projects in Africa.
Plant Performance - Got a plant performance problem with a manufacturer or supplier regarding equipment suitability or performance? No problem, we can assist with an amiable resolution. For example, we were called into a plant in Ghana West Africa to look at a crushing problem, and by suggesting a change to the configuration we were able to improve production to satisfy both the end user and the manufacturer. We were able to troubleshoot the plants performance and make subtle changes to improve production. We even supervised the modifications to the plant to the satisfaction of the customer and the manufacturer.
Quarry Management - Short term quarry management from fully qualified manager to cover holiday, sickness and short term periods - hard rock, aggregates, sand and gravel.
Project Management - New quarry set up, processing plant erection and commissioning to managing overburden removal or restoration we can assist.
Health & Safety - Devising and implementing safety, health and environmental schemes for quarries, processing plants etc. Risk assessments for maintenance procedures.
CDM Documentation - Supervision and planning of crushing plant installation provision of all CDM documentation.
Development - Assisting aggregate producers to develop manufacturing processes for specialized high quality fine products (VSI concrete sand manufacture - specialist VSI crushing knowledge)
Reporting - Compilation, editing and clarifying technical reports prior to submission, a service utilized by several US based managers.
Plant Auditing - Survey of your existing crushing, screening and materials handling equipment primarily to assist in current equipment condition. This is a written report with photographic insertions and the type of survey where the plant is inspected and a report of finding produced.
This type of survey will highlight areas which require immediate attention; it will not provide a mechanical strip and inspect type of survey. It will highlight areas requiring attention, guard condition, housekeeping etc.
This type of survey or appraisal will also provide details for asset registers, and approximate market valuations of equipment. Right from your primary feed hopper to final load out bins or conveyors.

We can also provide a more detailed report for key components or individual pieces of equipment that you are planning to trade in, replace or refurbish.
From the plant audit, we can also provide a schematic plant flow diagram mass balanced or layout drawing which can be used for illustration purposes. Scale drawings also provided of current plant layout.
Recommendations for plant performance improvement - by viewing your operation for an agreed period we are able to offer independent advice on improving plant performance, whether it be increasing plant output or reducing processing costs, we can provide a recommendation.
We can also take our recommendations to manufacturers and gain their input for recommended equipment
Warranties - got an issue with a manufacturer regards a warranty decision? We can assist you to resolve the situation. We work with all manufacturers to provide a fair and independent advice.
Market Evaluation & Development - trying to enter a new market? With our vast experience of various markets, we can provide reports on countries to assist in the selection of distributors. We can provide reports that will assist with importing of equipment such as customs tariffs, local manufacture issues, expedition companies, trade associations etc. Who are the main aggregate producers? Who are their suppliers?
